God’s Perspective on Denial

Here are passages of Scriptures that address God’s love relating to the emotions of guilt and shame:
I am Loved by God – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
I am Valuable to God – But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. I Peter 2:9-10
God Will Take Care of All My Needs – Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16
Record in your journal how these verses impact your heart when it comes to the emotions of guilt and shame.
