Ramah International is pleased to announce a two-day pregnancy center training seminar in Trussville, AL (outside Birmingham) on April 13-14, 2023. Two separate sessions will be offered. One session helps pregnancy center teams Ministering Effectively to Abortion Vulnerable in a Post-Roe World. The second session provides complete Abortion Recovery Leadership Training which includes training certificates.

When the Supreme Court ended Roe v. Wade in 2022, post-abortive hearts were significantly impacted. If abortion was “safe and legal,” many felt it was a “right” choice. When it became illegal, many realized it was “wrong” and are reaching out in record numbers for support. Pregnancy center work in abortion-free states has also changed but women are still getting abortions. This seminar will cover many topics to help your center address these changes and help those who desperately need your ministry.

Ramah’s seminars offer low-cost training for your pregnancy center team covering two areas of ministry (detailed below). In addition to unique training, the fellowship will help your team with networking and friendships with like-minded individuals, building unity within our movement. Sydna Masse, along with Ramah speakers Karen Fifer and Melissa Horton, provide you with timely client management training for the post-Roe environment.

Session 1: Abortion Recovery Leadership – This session begins on Thursday evening and continues Friday. All aspects of abortion recovery leadership will be included to equip ministry leaders in reaching potential clients, staff, board, or donors who may be post-abortive. Session 2: Ministering Effectively to Abortion Vulnerable in a Post-Roe World - This session offers a variety of topics to improve your ministry to those considering abortion. A detailed analysis of medication abortion, ministering to men, how culture impacts abortion and much more will be covered. You will learn how clients think, act, and react to various life-affirming messages, particularly when they are considering abortion again. Topics during this session on Friday, April 14th are listed in detail on the accompanying seminar flyer.

Thursday evening’s topics are great for everyone regardless of area of involvement. Attendees are free to attend either session/day or transfer sessions based on the topics being covered.
